The PPQG was formed in 1990 by a small group who shared an interest in quilting and who wanted to learn from each other, have fun and enjoy each other’s companionship. In addition to increasing their own quilting skills, they established goals of sharing their knowledge with others and giving back to their community through charitable giving.
Come Join Us
Guild meetings are generally held the last Monday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m., with Mini-Demonstrations and Social Hour from 6:00 to 7:00. Our location is the Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History, 3225 Fourth Street in Jackson, Michigan. We meet in the Community Room. In addition to the business portion of the meeting, we sponsor a presentation or activity designed to help broaden our quilting experiences and knowledge. Another important part of the meeting is “Show and Tell” where members share their current projects and discuss successes, as well as consult others for solutions to quilting problems. provide the opportunity for our members to give back to our community.
